Appointment Details

Student providers examine and treat patients under the direct supervision of experienced faculty dentists.

Continuity of student providers is considered, but a number of students and faculty may be involved in your treatment. As a result of thorough and personal attention, the overall time to complete treatment is considerably longer than it would take seeing an experienced dentist.

The principles of good dentistry are used to develop treatment recommendations. Patients who are unable or unwilling to accept treatment recommendations will not be treated in the student clinic.

Cancellation Policy

We require a 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment. After two broken or cancelled (without the required notice) appointments, elective care will no longer be provided in the student clinic.

Providers

schedule an appointment

Our student clinic is where we train future dentists. Student providers examine and treat patients under the direct supervision of experienced faculty dentists. Appointments are every two to three weeks, at a time your assigned student is available. Each appointment is approximately three hours.
